Philip and Lora Casey established Philip J. Casey Woodworking in 1999. Philip's background in woodworking began at an early age when he first apprenticed under his father James P. Casey a Newport RI artist, calligrapher, stone carver and woodworker. During Philip's later school years he took several drafting and woodworking classes. In 1987 at the age of 22 Philip moved from Rhode Island to Hawaii and among other jobs, worked in a cabinet/woodworking shop. It was here in Hawaii where he met Lora. In 1995 Philip moved back to Rhode Island with Lora, and settled in Little Compton. While establishing themselves back east Philip worked for a couple of cabinet/woodworking shops before going out on his own.
Together Philip and Lora work directly with the contractor and homeowner from start to finish, offering personalized service and attention to detail. The company is based on the belief that the customers' needs are of the utmost importance and they are committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of their business is from repeat customers and referrals.
They welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.
